What's it all about? An ultra modern facility for young people is to reopen in North Liverpool, providing sporting and adventure training activities. The campaign to raise the necessary money to ensure that this project becomes a reality is known as the ‘1 twenty 1 project’ which takes its name from the address in Limekiln Lane where the youth centre is based. People are shocked when young people are injured in antisocial incidents. It is our intention to convert that shock into action and provide high quality, well equipped and focused activities to help young people. This is not the answer to all ills, but an attempt to make a difference to young people's lives. The project will be guided by a diverse committee of interested parties in order to gain maximum benefit both in the planning and operation of the scheme. |
